Same supplier, two lists, no settled chemical line.

These are Platinum Pool Care’s advertised prices, fetched on 8 November 2026. They are not a Gold Coast average, not a quote for your pool, and not a SEQ Service Quotes fee. GST is not printed on the $79, $89 and $99 blocks quoted here.

Maintenance-page cards, labelled “per month”

The onsite maintenance page lists three cards. Each includes a callout, water test and balance, equipment check, filter clean or backwash, baskets, scooping, brooming and vacuuming. The $99 card adds “priority repair support”. The $79 and $89 cards, on that page, do not.

Booking page, labelled “4 weekly”

The booking page prices the same three names at $79, $89 and $99 and says “4 weekly”. Its $79 Pool Health Check lists water testing, baskets, a deep filter clean, salt cell clean as required, an equipment check and o-rings. Under that $79 block it says required chemicals are charged as extras. The $89 block is described as a full service excluding vacuum. The $99 block includes a full floor vacuum. Those vacuum lines do not match the maintenance page, where the $79 and $89 cards both list vacuuming.

Because the two pages disagree, this site will not merge them into one “what you get” promise. Ask which page a quote follows, whether vacuuming is in, whether the salt cell is in, and whether chemicals and GST are extra. The booking page’s separate price list also shows an onsite equipment check at $110, green-pool cleans from $110, and storm-damage pool services from $132. Those are different products from the four-weekly cards.

A 36-month sum that is not a forecast

Thirty-six times the $89 figure is $3,204. That is arithmetic on one advertised price. It assumes the price does not change, that the pool stays on that card for three years, and that nothing else is billed. It is not a measured lifetime value. If chemicals are extra, as the $79 booking block states for that block, $3,204 is not the cost of keeping the water balanced.
